General profile
My name is Pedro Miguel, I'm 22 years old, and live in Portugal in a village called Carnaxide, near Lisbon.
Some years ago, by the age of ten, I started to play the Piano... The years passed and now I study Choral Conducting at "Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa", which is like a University of Music. I'm also in the final year of National Conservatory's Piano course. Maybe in the next months I will start to work as music teacher and also as conductor!
In my free time I try to do lots of different things, but usually I spend most part of this time with friends, going out, to cinema, etc...
As you might guess I love music, this way I spend a lot of time in concerts and listening records and of course... driving F1 simulations which takes a lot of time.
I also practice some sports such as cycling, football, tennis and swimming.

I drove my first qualifying in Montreal, back in the season 2001 in Virtual-F1 Championship. By that time I was driving with keyboard, but soon I understood that I needed to start driving with a wheel.
Without any chances to fight for the title I had no pressure and I started to learn lots of things. This way I achieved some good results, including 2 poles and 2 wins.
One year later I was driving with wheel, and things were completely different. I didn't drove all the events during the season, due to some technical problems in my wheel.
I only drove in 10 events, in which I achieved 8 pole-positions and 9 wins. This way I became Virtual-F1 2002 Champion.
At the end of the season I was invited by Rogério Barroso to make part of Virtual-Games Racing Team. To be honest during the season this was one of my objectives.
I entered the team and I started to understand that this was like entering in a new whole world. For the first time, I had that chance to talk with some of the best drivers in the world.
One year later, I was starting my career as International Driver in GPChampionship.
Only a few minutes passed in my first session in Melbourne and I realized that it would be difficult to fight for a good position. Everything was new for me, and I felt a lot of pressure because I wanted to give my best, and show other people what I could do inside a F1 car.
During the season I had problems, especially because during the whole season I didn't had a regular team mate, this way it was more difficult for me to achieve good results. But in Hungary GP I did it and after a good qualifying I won the race.
At the end of the season I was Vice-Champion and it was a wonderful feeling, because it was a very good reward for all the work I had during the season! ;)
I improved a lot my driving skills during the season, but still, there's a big way until I can reach the top.
Opinion
My ambition is, of course, to have a race seat with VG in FSR, but until that day I will continue to work on my skills in different Leagues.
